Suanlee Farrer is currently a Year 11 student at Morley Senior High School and has been appointed House Leader.  One of her roles is to help fundraise for "Awareness for  Cambodia," a program set up to spread awareness on the living and education standards of children in Cambodia.

Morley "Leo's," a division of the Lions Club, of which she is currently a volunteer, has been described by Suanlee, as life-changing.

Suanlee is also a volunteer with YMCA Youth Parliament and currently a Youth Member for Nollamara.  These programs have given her an unusual insight into State Politics, whilst developing her sense of community and leadership skills.  She also participated in the Francis Burt Mock Trial Competition in 2009.

Suanlee is currently studying Politics and Law.  She feels that although she is young, one can still make a contribution to society and make every day count.

We congratulate Suanlee, our 2010 Zonta Club of Swan Hills winner of The Young Women in Public Affairs Award.
